Upon achieving International recognitions, IFCA has been aggressively moving out of Malaysia seeking for business opportunities. Having its current presence throughout the South East Asia, East Asia, South Asia, Africa and Oceania, Middle East was the location to move forward. With the increasing oil price, Middle Eastern conglomerates were keen to work with professionals especially from Malaysia to ease their operation.
Working together with Multimedia Development Corporation MDeC and Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation MATRADE, the initiative has become more on a G2G approach. MDeC and MATRADE made arrangements by organizing 2 seminars, 1 in each country which was followed by a B2B meeting. To further entice the mission, a study trip was organized to the local cyber-city where all ICT companies resided. The name of the place is KOM which is known as Knowledge Oasis Muscat. Also to the Oman Chamber of Commerce & Industry.
Participating in the mission attracted some immediate customers who were interested IFCA Software™. We also managed to attract 20 over companies from the Sultanate of Oman who were keen to become IFCA’s Business Partner. During the mission, MDeC and MATRADE also did organize meetings with the local Malaysians who have businesses in the country or have been appointed to serve there. It became a very knowledgeable session when valued information was shared on the local culture and the local method of doing business.
Since this mission was a successful mission, IFCA will continue to participate in missions of such in the near coming future.
