This joint venture between MMC Corporation Bhd and Gamuda Bhd was awarded by the Malaysian government to build the northern section of the double tracking railway project worth RM12.5 billion. The project will involve the design and construction of an electrified double tracking railway line measuring 329 kilometers.



IFCA software was selected by these two construction giants in Malaysia primarily based on its strong customer-base and its specialized expertise in managing groups of complex contracts and their respective sub-contractors, and integrating to their financial accounting system. In such complex project as this, the entire project is segregated into multiple “packages” and further sub-contracted to a pool of sub-contractors and suppliers, making managing the entire project a massive challenge without proper software management tools.
