The Group sealed its second deal in Africa with Botswana Housing Corporation. A government-owned national housing corporation of Botswana has selected IFCA’s Property Plus as the preferred business software solutions to meet the housing and lending demands of the Corporation. This event was held at Cyberjaya Lodge, Cyberjaya and was witnessed by Yang Bahagia Tan Sri Dato’ Dr Othman Yeop Abdullah, Executive Chairman of MDC.

IFCA Software Limited, the master distributor for IFCA MSC Berhad ("IFCA"), entered into a sales and purchase agreement with the Botswana Housing Corporation for the supply, installation, implementation and training of IFCA's Property Plus and Loan Plus business software solution on 29 August 2002.

The event was witnessed by the Special Guest of Honor, Yang Bahagia, Tan Sri Dato' Dr. Othman Yeop Abdullah, Executive Chairman of the Multimedia Development Corporation. Also in attendance was Puan Sarina Karim, Senior Vice President, Technopreneur Development of the Multimedia Development Corporation.

Botswana Housing Corporation, a government-owned national housing corporation of Botswana, has selected IFCA's Property Plus and Loan Plus as the preferred business software solutions to meet the housing and lending demands of the Corporation. Property Plus and Loan Plus would help Botswana Housing Corporation handle the growing housing needs of Botswana. The installation of Property Plus and Loan Plus will take place over a period of one year. Botswana Housing Corporation is expected to go fully live with the software by September 2003.

Property Plus and Loan Plus, which emerge out of a decade of R&D effort, are fully integrated business solutions designed specifically for property companies providing housing development and housing loans.
The company has been able to leverage on its extensive experience in the property sector and leading financial institutions in the Asia-Pacific region to win this deal. "Given that Botswana Housing Corporation is a prestigious Corporation, enacted by the Botswana government, Botswana Housing Corporation is a major player in the housing development in Botswana. This contract was won competitively with a bid against a few major international software vendors. This is a significant win for us at IFCA MSC Berhad, as it reinforces our position as a global software developer to the property and lending industry."
Other than Property Plus and Loan Plus, IFCA-MSC Berhad has also developed a series of other home grown software such as comprehensive management information systems for clubs, hotels, resorts, property management companies as well as Construction and project-related companies.

In August last year, the Company was awarded a major contract from a South African organization, Transnet Housing, a prestigious company and a subsidiary of Transnet Limited, a major player in the transport arena in Southern Africa.

In July this year, the Company clocked yet another milestone in the African continent with the signing of a major contract with the prestigious "Namibia Housing Enterprise" of Namibia. This contract was also for the purchase of 'Property-plus' and 'Loan-plus' for its housing development and housing loans requirements.
Recently the Company has released its latest version of its software incorporating Push Technology and Business Intelligence for businesses to build competitive advantage and to offer exceptional customer service. It empowers employees with timely company-wide collaborating and Alert messaging tools. It integrates all valuable information gathered from all departments in an organization to empower employees to work and collaborate seamlessly and productively with one another.
