The Development Phase focuses on those activities around building the functionality defined in the PMR. The PMR provides the baseline for software customization or development to begin. The technical development team sets a number of interim delivery milestones, each of which involves a full development test/fix cycle. At the Scope Complete Milestone customers and team assess the solutions functionality and verify that rollout and support plans are in place. At this milestone, all new development is complete, and deferred functionality is documented for the next release.
In the Development & Testing phase, customizations to IFCA SoftwareTM will be developed and tested by IFCA. The development work will be divided into Builds taking 2-3 weeks if elapsed development time exceeds 3 weeks. Internally, the Testing Tools used by IFCA are 'Load Runner -- for the Performance Test' and 'QTP -- for the Automation Test'. The clients are asked to test each Build as and when delivered.
