The Kuala Lumpur Golf & Country Club (KLGCC) is a proprietary club strategically located in Bukit Kiara, Kuala Lumpur. KLGCC is a 150,000 square ft clubhouse equipped with banqueting, F&B, and a host of sports & recreational facilities such as swimming pool, tennis courts, squash court, gym, bowling alley, billiard room, a golf academy, 3-tier driving range, karaoke lounge and a 36 hole championship golf course (East & West course).

Kuala Lumpur Golf & Country Club, a member of Sime Darby Group, has sustained IFCA MSC Bhd to assist the Club in enhancing its IT system in line with their first overall renovation and upgrading of the entire club. As a loyal customer since the 1990s when IFCA Software were run on the UNIX platform, KLGCC have continuously retained IFCA as their solution provider, upgrading to newer versions every once and again where necessary. They are currently implementing their latest version of IFCA Software for Golf Club Management with close to 50 users, expected to complete sometime next year.

They expect to synchronize their operations in every aspect with IFCA’s fully integrated solution to improve efficiency and improve information flow between the various divisions of the club. To facilitate that aim, they also intend to change their Point of Sales (POS) system, which had been previously provided by a third party, to the system which is included in IFCA’s comprehensive solution.

It will greatly benefit the valued members of the KLGCC club, the employees as well as the business partners with the variety of core functionalities. IFCA’s Golf Internet Portal’s allows the functions and features to be accessible via KLGCC website and perhaps later on, via Information Kiosks at the Club. It enables members and the public to obtain information on the latest events, happenings as well as promotions at KLGCC.

Members may even register themselves for these events directly via the portal without the hassle of dealing with other parties. It also provides the members direct access to their monthly statements as well as account information for their convenience either to update their records or just to cross-check. Moreover, IFCA Golf Portal includes an online booking feature which allows bookings based on available preferred flight times and golf courses. Bookings for other recreational activities such as badminton courts, tennis courts and so on may also be made via this portal.
