Multi-Purpose Group has engaged IFCA in implementing the latest IFCA.Net, a Web-based Enterprise Business Management Solution, for the group’s operations. The solution will enable the group to better manage its daily operation in an integrated Web platform, empower its employees in improving operation, communication channels and to ease collaboration with its business associates and customers on a real-time basis.

Background
Multi-Purpose Holdings Berhad, the investment holding company for the Multi-Purpose Group of Companies, was incorporated in 1975 and listed on the Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad in 1982. Today, the Multi-Purpose Group is involved in the core businesses of Financial Services, Stockbroking, Gaming, Hospitality and Property.

The group’s gaming operation in Magnum is principally engaged in the gaming business, being the pioneer and market leader in the Malaysian 4 digit (4D) authorised gaming industry. In 2009, Magnum launched a new 4D game which incorporates a jackpot element with a cascading feature. It is the first of its kind in the world.

On the Property front, The Property division of MPHB manages the properties and landbank owned by the Multi-Purpose Group. Its properties include Menara Multi Purpose, a major skyscraper and landmark in Kuala Lumpur and Capital Square Mall.
